But it gets even better! Right now Canadian Tire has a triangle rewards offer for $100 off any purchase of $250+ for parts/service (including tires!) which can be stacked with this.
EDIT: To clarify, the tires would need to be installed by CT to get this offer. The CT rep assured me that these tires with installation would qualify for the $100 CT money as these were installed tires, however it is possible that he was wrong on this. If for ex. only the labour $'s count towards this offer, then you'd be looking at the $35 off $100+ offer instead but still a good deal either way.
But wait there's more! Continental has a $65 mail in rebate offer right now which can also be stacked with this.
And for those with a triangle World Elite credit card there is still more! It appears you can also stack your 4% back in CT Money with this.
Here's the sample math on a set of 4 tires in my size (P185/65R15)
Regular Price: 4x $132.99 = 531.96
Clearance Price: 4x $79.43 = 317.72
Less $100 back in CT Money (If installed by CT)
Less $65 Mail in Rebate (As a VISA Gift Card)
Less 4% Cash Back in CT Money ($12.71) for Triangle WE MC
Effective price for 4 tires: $140.01 ($35/tire)! + Installation, fees and taxes. That's $391.95 (74%) off the regular price of the tires alone when installed.
Edit for even greater clarity: In Alberta, for 4 tires installed (size P185/65R15) I paid $317.72 up front for the tires, $120 for installation/balancing on supplied new steel rims, $16 in enviro fees, $11.85 in shop supplies and $23.28 in GST for a subtotal of $488.85. And then on this, I am expecting: $100 back in CT money, $65 back for the mail in rebate and approx. $19.55 CT money back for the Triangle WE MC. So net installed price is $304.30 including installation, fees and taxes.
