[Canadian Tire] 9.99-17.99 New Mastercraft Heavy Duty F-Clamps

I didn't see a post for this so thought I would put one up.

These are NEW as far as I am concerned, available from 6-36". The 36" is 17.99 I believe.

They are BEEFY and are essentially replicas of the Heavy Duty Bessey Clamps. Very good quality, super solid movement, extremely thick steel.
It's an absolute steal when on sale!.

$17.99 Mastercraft 36" vs $29.99 Bessey @ HomeDepot

These actually do look identical to Bessey clamps, which I love. Might have to snag a couple.

at Homedepot they have a 4 pack of Bessey's for $30 https://www.homedepot.ca/product/bessey ... 1000833691 note that these are the 2.5" throat and are lighter duty than the CanadianTire ones in OP

Homedepot has the 3.5" (equivalent to OP's) 12" for $19.97 https://www.homedepot.ca/product/bessey ... 1000817132

this is just FYI. I think the CandianTire ones are decent

Mastercraft and heavy duty in the same sentence. CT's marketing department clearly has no shame.

I'll assume from your comment that you don't own or haven't used these clamps.

You assume correctly. Odds are though that they are at best, home owner grade like everything else Mastercraft.

I've got a bunch of these of varying vintages going back about 18 years. The basic design hasn't change though they have added the latching mechanism which makes them easier to use. You're missing out on a great deal. Though I do agree that there is generally a lot of overpriced crap in the Mastercraft brand there are the odd few diamonds in the rough.

Is the deal dead? I clicked on the link and see prices starting at 19.99 for the 6 inch. 24.99 for the 12 inch.

Was also wondering. Flyer says 50% off various clamps but these f clamps are no longer showing the 50% discount. Was going to pick some up today.

Deal is dead now.
But Yes. Great clamps when on sale.
I bought a dozen Bessey when CT carried them many years ago.

Deal is NOT dead. Today is the last day of this sale

Daijoubu wrote: Are they any good for clamping kitchen cabinets togheter for installation? What size would I need,
these would be great for that. If you're just talking about clamping the 2 cabinets walls together, the 6" would be great. eg: http://cdn-2.hometips.com/wp-content/up ... jpg?4e8dfd
