[Canadian Tire] BISSELL Easy Vac® Lightweight Corded Stick Vacuum Cleaner -- $24.99 (Reg $79.99)

Obviously not a heavy lifting vacuum, but it's $25 and seems well-reviewed on Canadian Tire. I'm buying, but mostly as a potential hand vac for vehicles, etc.

Thanks OP. Was looking for one to do the same.
Seems there aren't any reliable cordless handhelds for a reasonable price.

Looks super weak, I won't count on it to do a good job

It's a big discount, but it's no good, so price may not matter.

Canada, Eh!!
Have 2 similar from walmart... does the job on tiles, hardwood and tight carpets. Not as good on those fluffier carpets.
2022: BOC raised 8 times and MCAP raised its prime next day.
2017 to 2018: BOC raised rates 5 times and MCAP raised its prime next day each time.
2020: BOC dropped rates 3 times and MCAP waited to drop its prime to include all 3 drops.

Yup, pretty much. Very lightweight and easy to move around.

I have a similar model and it's good for picking up small messes on tile / laminate / hardwood. Not so great on carpet.

i remember back in like early 2010 when these kind of vacuums were selling for like $12.99 (if i recall correctly) when on sale. like rfd'ers mentioned here, this vacuum is good for light vacuuming only on hard surfaces. don't even bother on carpet unless it's only to pick up surface crumbs. the major downfall of this vacuum is the filter. once it gets a little dusty, it starts to lose suction power. and the replacement filters will eventually start costing quite a bit if you keep replacing it. that's why mine is now just delegated to the washroom for picking up the wife's hair. throw out the collected hair and then use another vacuum to suction out the dust collected in the filter. after doing this for a while, the filter is starting to show wear and i can see holes starting to form in some area. which means i would need to replace it again soon.

these vacuums are like the printer and ink cartridges. cheap vacuum (printer), expensive filter (ink cartridges).

since this is corded, i'm assuming you're close to a power supply when using it for your car. if that's the case, i'd suggest you invest in a cheap small shop vac instead for doing vehicles. this thing will just pick up the crumbs in your car. the dust will eventually just choke this vacuum's filter in no time and you'd have to spend money on getting new filters.

I use this to vacuum cat litter, it's perfect for it

I think I bought mine in the 2010s too when these were $15 or $20 or something

Stock is sketchy in my area
