Good for the low key, once in a while weekend warrior but expect to get your man card revoked if you show up to your buddies house with this thing or they come over and see it.

is it that bad? I was just going to use this for once-in-a-while Ikea setups... maybe maintenance for the fence... hanging up pictures around the house
not good enough?

definitely not in need to be the Chris Hemsworth of the bunch

I had bought one of these about 10 years back and used it to build a 200+linear feet long fence. So yeah this will handle more than enough for an average home owner. The only thing was that the battery would last 2+ hour of work time and had to be recharge multiple times during the day.

However, I used a dewalt drill of a friend one day and went out and bought a set for myself and never looked back. There is a huge difference in power.

For small jobs like ikea furniture assembly or hanging curtains or frames, invest in a good 12v ones. Much lighter and still will have more power than this black and decker one.

No it's not that it's bad, it's just you get what you pay for. The last posters comments were right. The battery on these are not good at all. Spend a bit more money on a decent drill combo and you will never will ha e to buy another one again
