Thanks Op picked this up today at Sheppard and Leslie location! This is actually an amazing deal - what you didn't include in the listing is that there are TWO 2.0ah batteries included.

The Canadian Tire rep that was helping me was this old retired guy and he was floored that this was the price and that they still had some around. He said he'd be picking it himself.

You could theoretically sell the tools and nab the batteries for pretty cheap.

These are nice, I have a slightly better (but older) line up of these.

I got them from HD some years ago for 280$ tax in for my old man, and they've seen some good use since...

Thanks for your answer !

After going into the power tools rabbit hole for the past hour or so, I’m starting to think I should go with Ridgid for their lifetime warranty ..

I bought the equivalent Bosch set (with batteries) about 10 years ago. They get a fair amount of use and stilll are going strong. Models DDS181 and IDS181. Original RFD price was about $112 for the pair. I've used some newer Milwaukee and Makita fuel 18v drivers and they have more power but are also physically bigger/heaverand more expensive.

If you are doing multiple large projects which you be drilling driving all day consider something bigger otherwise these have not let me down. Best $112 I ever spent.

Edit:. Looks like the same driver but the drill in this set is the hammer drill.

Is this better than getting a dewalt that is on sale end of week or a ryobi/rigid?
