Price is not the issue here, it's the availability. Maybe you should add the location in your title to save people time

Novalook sells adjustable 52.5lb (and 90lb) dumbbells that are basically knock offs of the Bowflex for cheaper at $399/pair with free delivery to a pretty wide area ranging from as far as Woodstock to Barrie to Oshawa to Niagara and more. Plus it also comes with a free AB roller too if you care for that.

I bought a pair of 52.5lb this past weekend and couldn't be happier and used them for a few workouts already. I'm hoping he puts the stand on sale and will probably get that to save me from having to bend down and pick up each time.

I already mentioned it in the other thread over the weekend no these do not stink. I'm sure there are worse smells at your regular good life location :)

thanks, are they adjustable in 5 lb increments as well, I can't recall which set was the awkward one that was lopsided on the 5 lb increment

Does he ship to BC for free? I don't care about next day delivery, but weights are impossible to find

Are you getting a commission from shilling for Novalook? Every single adjustable dumbbell thread, be it Weider or Bowflex, has you shilling for novalook. We get it, novalook dumbbells are available, no need to post its link in every dumbbell thread.

I doubt Nova look will ship to BC for free given how heavy weights are. Even his local free delivery is probably just him aggregating as many orders together in the same area or along the way.

No I am not and just trying to help others out on the forum who are trying to get a set of adjustable dumbbells. It was pretty frustrating because people are adding a mark up to whatever they could scoop from the stores and I actually found a source cheaper than Novalook on Kijiji at $174.99 per dumbbell but problem is no stock but if you preorder the next batch arrives sometime in Jan 2021. I saw Novalook's ad on FB marketplace last Sunday and messaged seller if he really had stock. He said place the order through website and it will be delivered tomorrow. I guess I lucked out because he must have been doing some deliveries in the area and my ordered showed up 4 hours later.

I have better things to do than shill for Novalook or any other company. I am just trying to contribute and help others out who may be driving re around to different retail stores and leaving empty handed.

Peter jacked up his price as well, it was on sale for &350, but after, I assume, an influx of RFD buyers flooding to him, the price went up to $400. And I guess he can justify his price by throwing in the an roller. It’s ridiculous to pay $400 for knockoffs when authentic ones sell for $450. But since his are readily available, people think it’s a good deal.

My advice to others is to be patient and keep on watching out for stock of the bowflex at Costco or Canadian tire, or the weirder at Canadian tire. Don’t give in and buy from Kijiji scalpers. And personally, I wouldn’t trust novalook’s “lifetime warranty”. It’s a knockoff product that he and others are importing to feed this pandemic craze, I doubt he’s going to be around to service any warranty claims. At least with Bowflex and Weider, they’re known brands that have been in business for a while.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't know if it was you or someone else who bought from Nova for $350 last month. After I found out I tried to see if he could keep his ab roller and credit me the $50 difference instead but was politely declined.

I personally prefer the Weider ones because the plates are always symmetrical whatever weight you select. The Bowflex or these knock off ones are a bit weird in the sense you can have a plate, two empty gaps and then two plates to make up a particular weight. Guess after few more workouts I will just get use to them. Hopefully won't run into any issues and I never trust these lifetime warranty claims and take with a grain of salt.

Now time to find a nice adjustable bench. Any suggestions?

Or people won't need dumbbells and fitness equipment when the Fitness places reopen for business once everyone gets the vaccine. Neutral Face

I was lucky to get my Weider pair when available at CT a few weeks ago.

It’s going to be a long while before the general public gets vaccinated.

Adjustable Weight Bench Utility Exercise Workout Bench Flat/Incline/Decline Bench Press for Home Gym https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07YXVSZGL/ref ... UTF8&psc=1

I have that one and am happy with it. By no means is it anywhere near commercial quality, but given the price, it serves its purpose.
