mentioned it before, a few weeks ago returned a new dyson (approx $400) - it was unopen and still sealed was like a nightmare. they opened it and said it was used. manager had to come over to confirm refund with CSR after 30-40 minutes waiting.

So 50-60x points still active? Can anyone confirm?

CT is brutal in their fight on returns. Must come from higher up as they seem to take it as a personal offense.

bought some furniture this morning, some pieces the wife was eyeing for a few months, both pieces were 100 off, total was 460, bought a shovel also, came to 490 after tax, got 97$ in rewards.

one of the great things about small cities, no lines, there was maybe 10 cars in the parking lot at 8am.

Very nice. I wish they made it clear that these stacked or even advertised the 50x points on the Absolute Extra (did not even see it on the shelf at the store I went to). I would have bought the Absolute Extra as well.

Picked up the Absolute and left the store. Was way too crowded did not want to shop around. Really just needed the soft roller as our home is over half hard surfaces. Gifted the V10 Animal I got during BF. At $680 net I would rather support CT than the Kiijiji resellers that bought 10+ and contributed to so many people missing the BF deal.

I just happened to see the 50x offer on the website while looking in the store. Otherwise I would have picked up the Absolute for $749.99. They only had one absolute extra in stock and I was able to check out by 9:57am crossing my fingers it would stack. Later I saw the thread on the Dyson air thingy and the same situation where the offers stacked.

That is amazing! I am jealous but given the 50x was time limited I doubt I can return and rebuy. Good to know for next time but same boat as you - had no idea it had 50x bonus until I looked it up online after reading your post. Great find.

It comes from the owner for the CT franchise store. There is a store in town that are complete jerks. Won’t refund and push exchange/replacement of product. Have to argue that nothing indicates final sale. Other stores in town don’t pull this but they are not keen on returns of purchases made from different stores. Suspect changes to the franchise model.

$2 off wooden hockey sticks ..

I will take that as I need something for road hockey to get myself back into shape. My son already bought me the Green Biscuit puck so ready to go!

We need some cheap all season tires for our “dog car” would this be an ideal time to do that? We nee 235/70 16’s. I gave a look at Costco, 1010tires, and this local guy in the Halifax area (the tire guy) who is know to have cheap tires. And they all seem to be about 105 to 120.

Saw the same thing on my phone on Dec. 25th. Said from 1-3 pm. Thought this was odd so I reread it to make sure. Then went to the store on Boxing Day at 1:30 so I would get the extra points. What a rip off. Never got the points. Sent an email to Canadian Tire about this. Will see what they say. It was their error on the mobile app so they should be responsible and honor it. Waiting to hear back.
