yup, I would buy a sale price non-suspension beater from Canadian tire, but not a full suspension. More things to go wrong, heavier, and less efficient pedalling.

Most bikes that you get at places like CT and Wal-mart are junk. If your expectations are only that it has 2 wheels and go from point A to B, then sure, you'll like it. But as soon as you start looking at bikes that cost a little bit more money or from a proper bike store, you will see these are just cheap.
