Belt drive is worth spending a bit more in my opinion. Good sales happen on those regularly

Ya do the belt drive, for noise mostly, if this is in a detached garage you don't care probably, if it's under a bedroom or living area, probably best to do a belt drive

I just installed four of the Home Depot b750c. I needed extensions as my doors are 8' and 9' high. Instead of extending what Chamberlain includes I
purchased Liftmaster solid rails with new belt. It ended up being same price as buying extension kits but is stronger as solid rail.

Doing this pretty much turns it into a liftmaster opener as it's the same motor electronics. Except it's cheaper and you get more accessories such as remotes and keypads.

The b750c 3/4hp DC motor is strong. My 9*9 weigh quite a bit with double insulated glass. Neighbor using same motor with 18*8 with glass in his doors.

I choose the b750c to not deal with future battery replacements as I have four doors. Had I had one maybe I would have considered this kit.

I have a spare Chamberlain B970c (Belt drive, 1 1/4 HP, battery backup). Bought from Homedepot with receipt. You can get it from me for a simailar price to OP's chain dive version if you live in GTA.

Update: gone.
