[Canadian Tire] Clearance LED pot lights 4 units for $19.99 some YMMV

Canadian Tire has some various Led pot lights on clearance

$5 for housing, bulb and cover ring is not bad. Includes GU10 Led bulb.

There are the new led flat type but when they burn out good luck finding a match. I had 100+ led bulbs burn out in less than 3 years or various kinds. The GU10 is aways available

Some stores have it at 19.99 others are higher

Edit: Canadin Tire pricing changed over night. Store 0411 was $19.99 and it went up. Hence YMMV.

Good enough for basement for me.

If one bulb burns out then get another bulb for the same color temperature. Wont be IDENTICAL but 99.9% match is good enough usually.

Good deal OP.

How often do your LEDs burn out really? Every 10 years?

If the pricing is higher at your local store, just get them to price match one of the other stores. Give them the store number from stocktrack. They've always done it for me.

Thanks! Showing $29.93 for 4 for me. But still a good deal as I'll be planning to remove popcorn in my family room and install pot lights

I believe OP is saying that the new no-bulb LED lights will be difficult to replace because you have to throw away the entire unit, bezel/lens/body and all, and put in a new one.

I've robbed their in-store stock. Maybe 4 boxes of each color left. They'll restock tomorrow since they have the rest of the inventory in an off-site warehouse.

I don't get how they can rate LED life at 20-30 years when I'm dealing with 10-20% failure rate in multiple homes just in the first year. Such a headache
As the op says, do yourself a favour and stock up on spares

They rate LED life by stating running it 3 hrs a day on the spec info side, but realistically some areas in the home stay on longer than that, and typically its a driver failure not the fixture itself. And yes I do recommend buying spares because tech is evolving and some models are discontinued with the manufacturer.

Went back to CT and tried price matching a store in New Brunswick that has them for 15$.. Their policy is price match with stores within a 200km radius only :(
