[Canadian Tire] Coleman Charcoal BBQ cover clearance (YMMV)

Great BBQ cover fits Weber nicely. YMMV with sporadic stock and price around the country. Purchased from Winnipeg Regent. (Drumheller and Powell River $5; few others in ON for $9).

https://stocktrack.ca/?s=ct&q=0852345

1. Find clearance stock
2. Price match at your local store as long as you're within 200km (i.e Calgary---Drumheller)
3. Protec BBQ

Exclusion from clearance price match is in the policy with the exception:
-Local Competitor’s bankruptcy, closeout, clearance, discontinued or liquidation prices, or any other sales where quantities are limited (Note: Clearance prices from other Canadian Tire Retail stores are eligible for Price Match)

Stopped using bbq covers long time ago due to rust issues ( humidity trapped under cover causing rust/corrosion, pitting)

This depends on the situation. It the bbq is porcelain and no scratches on them, I think it helps.

Leaving uncovered also penetrate more water to bbq. Mine is Weber bbq and it’s fine.

Thanks OP, Was looking for a cover for my Smokey Mountain. Their cover is so pricy that I didn’t wanna pay that much. This will do!

Seems like a good price, but it was on "clearance" for $9.88 last year too.
PSAs
------------------
-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-Stocktrack.ca and homedepot.ca do not show clearance pricing for HD even if the item is on clearance.

Firstly the regular price is an absolute joke at $60. $20 is probably more realistic for a cover of this size.

I bought the Weber grey cover [like pastic] before and it ripped and tore pretty easily a year later.

What is the material like? Is it a heavy material?

Agreed, full price Canadian Tire is always ridiculous.

It's a thick canvas, waxed on outside for repelling water. Here's a pic on my Weber.

Closest store is $19.99 which isn’t bad but if I add to cart I need to have a minimum of $25 for an order. So wrong

RO is more affordable than Kingsford and lasts long, from my experience. The only problem is that it produces a little more ash than Kingsford.
