[Canadian Tire] CT - NOMA 50W Amorphous Solar Panel Kit - $119/$99/$79 (depending on location) clearance (reg $349)

I was looking to pick up an inexpensive solar panel kit for camping, and found this on in-store clearance. Looks to be stock at various stores but they are clearing them out for new models. I haven't used this yet, but the kit comes with the panels, a frame kit, the charge controller, and some lights. I'm sure this won't fully charge a battery, but I'm just looking for something to supplement the tent trailer battery for a few days at a time.

Update - Price different at different stores. Example: $80 in Vancouver

hmmmmmmmmm,,, good deal, shows $80. Now one step from clicking order, wondering what am I gonna use this for. Trying to make a reason so hard.
Stay strong, situation always looks harder and that it will never end when you are in the middle of it, but remember past experiences, everything has an ending.

What kind of battery would this go well with? Any suggestions? Any 12V battery?

Would these be a better buy since they're crystalline/slightly smaller?

$39.99 at some CTs:

yeah I'm assuming this isn't intended to charge my cellphone while camping? Description just talks about recharging 12V car/RV batteries

Looks like the charge controller has USB ports.

These don't come with the frame kit, and most importantly the charge controller. You can blow up a battery by not using a charge controller (solar panels don't turn off, they are always outputting voltage )

They have both? Look at the other pics.

Edit: The charge controller clearly isn't digital though. Not sure if that's better or worse for reliability's sake.
