Hmm, It shows some device with 2 USB ports. Might they just work out of the box?fruitpunch.ben wrote: ↑ yeah I'm assuming this isn't intended to charge my cellphone while camping? Description just talks about recharging 12V car/RV batteries

It's 25W vs (50W in OP) if that matter to someone
You can ship it home for $12 though from any store within your province! Just find the lowest price:

Get a mono/polycrystalline solar panel, it is more performant and less subject to overheating

Can you explain the difference between amorphous and crystalline? As for 50W vs 25W, is the only difference that 50W will charge twice as fast as 25W?
I'd be using this to charge a camper battery. Thanks.

Those are different types of solar panels. Crystaline are more effecient, so for the same power output, you need less surface area (as much as 50% smaller panel for crystaline), However, amorphous are better in part shade.

YMMV. I have PMed several times with prices from stores in the same city. But if it's too far they might not budge.

Got two of these for my father's RV a few months ago at this price. Great price but on the one I tried the controller was a dud. Tried for a moment without the controller on a 12v trolling motor in full sun and I was impressed as it spun up very well. Was getting between 18v-21v in full sun.
Apparently the controllers are usually poor quality and people recommend just getting one's from princess auto.

For $80, this 50W mono is a better deal

Would this be powerful enough for an outdoor pump for a fountain?

If I want to run my Mobicool cooler (T35) with this, what do I need?
Do I absolutely need a deep discharge battery?
Is there a Li-Ion alternative that would work?

it's 50W, might be overkill I think. But depends on the pump.
