It's not bad at all. Seems around $440 USD in the states. It's an older model mind you. I have a 400 series which is about 12 years old now, replaced the battery once and it's still going. This one is much nicer, automatic charging and scheduling?! I have to find mine, plug it in and start it manually each time :)

Paid $399 last summer for 761. So seems like a pretty good deal.

Amazon had the 770 for $350 on black friday, so it's been these prices before.

Maybe the new surge of compitition from samsung and dyson in this market, is going to drive the prices down

Thanks. Wallet safe, since I still have a 560 kicking around.

Stopped using it when I noticed it was eating away at the fibres of the carpet, more so than my Beam.
Kept it as laminate flooring is in the near future.

Anyone know the difference between the two models? They both seem to be the same price..

I paid $599.99 for the Roomba 880 during Boxing Day...which to me is a WAY BETTER model than these.

What about it makes it way better for you? They're also very different price points, $364 vs $600.

Fair enough. I think I'll be happy with the 770. If the 880 were as heavily discounted, I'd probably get that instead.

Bought the 770 in St Thomas. 2 left in stock as of 5:45 PM this evening.
Can't wait to get this bad boy up and running. Cleaning under the bed and behind couches will be awesome as it doesn't usually get done.

Edit: tried it out. It wouldn't climb up on to the rug placed on my laminate flooring. Also freaked my bird out and wasn't going to end up being worth the trouble. Wife wasn't fond of it either so it's back to CT For me.

Went in to CT in Surrey. Picked up a 770. Reloaded the CT website and it changed the price now to $629.99. Customer service said they'll honor the price of $363.93 plus tax. Ended up paying total $410. Thanks OP

Something doesn't sound right about that... Even the most basic Roomba can climb a rug. I used mine and it's cleaning really well. Maybe you need to let it charge?

Thanks! I was able to reserve one at Dixie and Dundas on the sale price. I tried to get another one for a family member at a different location but now the online price is saying $700 as opposed to the clearance price. Not sure what happened. Hopefully when I go pick it up tomorrow they'll still honour the sale price.

Just picked one 770 for $411. I missed 870 model for $499 earlier in December. That was the best deal which I wish would come back again.

I read 880 is 5 times powerful than 770. Also it uses a new kind of brushes. Not sure if I have to wait for 800 series deal. Any advice is really appreciated.

Nevermind, they just cancelled my order. I'll see if I can find it somewhere else for them to price match still.
