It appears the reviews for it are not great...

Most of the reviews on CT website are for the 630 model and one review for the 652 model doesn't seem that great. The other review from Amazon is also not great.

"I got this model from Canadian Tire. Bought it because of the ratings. Got it home and found it is a horrible machine. I put it in a carpeted hallway, for 1 hour (until the battery was going dead), it worked away.. it bounced around like a cue ball on a pool table but in that whole time it did not go over the middle of the hall. At the stairway, it didn't fall over but would get hung up at the edge and need repositioning. I tried it in my kitchen. It kept ping ponging around but couldn't find its way around the island. When hitting the dock button, it would / could not dock itself. The bin is tiny, the filter is cheap. Don't buy this model. Maybe the newer models work better. This model is garbage."

I have two of these, they work pretty well for a basic Roomba. $289 is a decent price but not super hot. If this was a 20x points even then I would say it's hot.

It only runs for 60 minutes. That is only good enough for a small area max 2 rooms

For this money I think you're better off getting a Chinese model.

Would you do you think about the Xiaomi Xiaowa?

I have this Xiaomi and love it. Previously we had the Bissell robo vac and with a golden retriever in the house, the dog hairs would all get stuck on the brush. With the new vacuum, it's night and day. Amazing suction power and all the hair gets picked up.

xiaomi is only a hundred more with 1800Pa suction, close to the current best. 5200 ma vs roomba 652 3000mah battery.

The suction is just a part of it. The Xiaomi also has LIDAR, so it maps and cleans your home much faster. It’s also better at not missing spots.

I ended up getting a Neato from BB&B with one of those 20% off coupons, but wouldn’t waste cash on one that’s not laser guided now that I’ve lived with both.

The model with lidar and 1800pa is not the one linked above, I believe. There are multiple versions, with the usual Xiaomi model confusion!

The one I linked is their "lite" version, with no mapping feature.

An upgraded model to consider is the iLife A8 - $400 from Amazon, it's got a camera on it for mapping as well. Or if you don't mind one bumping into stuff, the iLife A6 is under $300CAD (plus $30ish shipping, and taxes and DHL fees) from Gear Best.
