Be aware this pan is NOT for electric stove tops. It is concave at the bottom and thus doesn't work for any 'electric' cooking appliance.

The master chef one is $17.99 and 12".
Do you have the link for this? I'm only finding the $89.99 one on CT.

Read the reviews.
How does "the base of the pan is beveled and pushes oil to the outsides" translate to, "doesn't work for any 'electric' cooking appliance"?

I have to say, for anyone not in a rush but want a cast iron pan, I have both this set and the one from Primecables.ca, and I would say they are virtually the exact same thing (the one on living.ca is 11inch)
They are often on sale for $13.99 and I believe you can get a free shipping code when you subscribe to their newsletter (or wait for the free shipping days).

hahahahaha another of those canadian tire 99999999 PERCENT SAVINGS! :D
ORIGINAL PAN : 1 BILLION DOLLARS, reduced to 20$! MASSIVE SAVINGS! (yes you will have noticed my calculations are off)
Dont get me wrong, love canadian tire, do not dislike lagostina pans, but they are NOT valued as what they say. I just dislike their marketing and perceived savings, which in reality, are not savings.
I guess the canadian market loves buying stuff on 'discount', without checking if it is a deal or not. As long as it's written on it, you can trust it right?

mm good call. here's the review for anyone looking:

10” skillet has concave bulge
Not level on bottom. Lagostina advised to return it to Canadian Tire for an exchange. CTC did not have any more of the 10” pans in stock and the one 12” pan they had also had a bulge. I used a straight-edge over the centre of the pan - there was about a 2mm difference over about 6” from the center. This is a major manufacturer defect for a skillet. I sent another note to Lagostina, It will be a week tomorrow and they still have not replied.

I guess there are some out there that have this issue and some that do not...
