I really want to invest in a Dutch oven to make sour dough and cook stews and stuff . Is this the best bang for buck . I think I should get at least the 4.6 quarts. Thoughts ?

I'll say right off the bat that I don't own this dutch oven. But I will say that Master Chef is such a horrific brand, that I will never be touching their products again. I picked up some basic kitchen supplies branded as Master Chef and they were of such horrid quality I ended up throwing them out. Quality wasn't really the issue, as much as there were hilarious design flaws that made the products unusable.
Pretty sure Master Chef just chucks their logo on anything and sells it. Their quality control is horrid.

Yes I am weary because Of this but the reviews to this particular product were positive so maybe there is hope. I really want to this but am conflicted due to potential quality issues !

Im looking to buy my first dutch oven. I would like to invest in something decent/good, but not go crazy. I guess 4.5-5.5qt would be good for 2 people?

I recommend Ikea Senior casseroles in that case. They're as good as Lodge, well priced, good warranty, lead and cadmium free (as with majority of Ikea cookware). I have a Senior 5.3 qt and Lodge 6 qt as my workhorses.

Any links you can provide? I couldn't find anything referencing that on their website.

Oh I just checked and Ikea Canada no longer has them. Damn, that's a pity. I wonder if they're just OOS for now due to Covid.

They're still on US site

That model says stainless steel knob safe upto 400 F. This is normal? I was expecting upwards of 475-500?
