[Canadian Tire] Mastercraft Inspection Camera (laptop/OTG cell viewing) 17.93/19.93/29.93 YMMV

If you just need a basic inspection camera, Canadian Tire has one on clearance.

- 2' shaft for the camera.
- 480x800 resolution
- hook and magnet attachments
- lighting

For clearance at various stores across the country (19.93 and 29.93... many still 99.99): Stocktrack

Reviews seem to indicate you can use the camera with your phone using an OTG adapter (instead of dragging your laptop around - confirmed with my phone).

I didn't need anything fancy or high resolution.

Edit: can't vouch for the security of the app but the first one that worked properly and fast on my phone was "USB Camera Standard" for Android.

Added: not the best shots. But added some from around the house while testing it out in random spots.

That's my exact thinking.

I have a home with no attic access. Going to drill a small hole to find the best place to create the access; without hitting anything I should not while also making sure it is a spot with enough height to get in.

You’ll need another bigger hole for the flashlight.these things will do closeup okay but are not powerful enough to light up a dark attic.

If I can see a foot or two away, it will be enough.

~1.75 feet of the camera plus getting a foot or two of view would give me what I need to make sure I'm targeting a good spot for an opening.

I am definitely not hoping to see the opposite side with just this.
