Good deal.

The 24" breaker bar usually goes on sale for $14.99 last Year, 2021. Not sure about this Year, 2022.

crap. I bought the 24" when it was on sale, probably for that price. I would have taken a 10" for fun.

Are these for loosening tire bolts when your impact driver/wrench can't get them off?

That's exactly what it's for. Any stubborn bolt/nut.

lol 10" breaker bar.

The 24" regularly goes on sale for like $14.99 and always has.

Just remember for very stubborn bolts/nut, make sure you use some type of liquid wrench (or something similar) and soak it for a good hour first. Or else these breaker bars will literally break your bolt. Then you will have a much bigger problem on your hands.

Even i was eyeing on the $14.99 deal. It last happened in Dec 2021 (per stocktrack). Now it drops to $19.99 only, Inflation, i believe. Tire change time is fast approaching, so pulled the trigger.

Yeah the 10" is pretty useless. A ratchet is already 10 inches. I guess it's good for banging on with a hammer or putting a pipe on, and doing a warranty exchange at CT if it breaks.

Thanks OP. Nice set.

Guys, don't forget to check your Triangle app. I just applied 2 offers:
- 10x on Sockets, Wrenches, Breaker Bars...,
- 25x on Maximum sockets, wrenches, tools... (found in swap offers).

In addition, you can get 1% back with Rakuten as well.

I've had the 24" for a decade now. Excellent still for busting a nut (that's too tight).

Bought this cause I need both the 24" and 10": Broke the Volvo stock breaker bar during tire change last year and need the 24" to complete the job and the 10" to keep in the car for emergencies.

If you do the tires yourself, and torque to the correct spec, you should never have to use a breaker bar and break a nut. I only encounter these problems the first time after buying a car and a garage has had their hands on the car! :(

Torqueing to the correct spec also ensures better heat dissipation resulting in less chance of warping brake discs...

Good deal!

Used 24" yesterday while swapping out winters to all seasons. I had 20" from PA before, but slight longer length does make job ever so easier of loosening. The lug nuts came off with little effort. I used impact driver to finish the job. It took less than an hour for the swap.

It typically happens on very rusty bolts that haven't moved in a long time. Think exhaust bolts, or rusted suspension bolts. I've never seen this happen on wheel lugs since they're usually removed once or twice a year so I've never bothered to use penetrating oils for them. I've also never broken a wheel stud.
