I am no expert on the subject (far from it to be honest), but 5-80 ft/lb seems to be rather low?

not sure how accurate is this, but many of them are >80

Good price OP. They used to be $10 a few times each year but those days may be gone.

Maybe you have other uses for them, but impact sockets are not necessary with a breaker bar. Regular sockets are fine.

You're right. A 1/2" drive torque wrench would be a better choice. That Napa one is probably the best deal right now. That 3/4" grip brand breaker bar will certainly do the job but is very much overkill for changing tires and most anything else that the typical RFDer will use it for. 3/4" sockets are also much more $ than 1/2" sockets.

Morons @ Kal Tire over tightened my lug nuts so badly that I broke two regular sockets on them. Cheaper to buy one good set for the purpose of changing tires in the future.... and of course never going back to Kal Tire.

They also damaged the paint on one of my calipers but hey - who cares if the customer doesn't see it right away.....

Torque wrench for CT is on sale starting April 17 but is still not cheaper than the NAPA deal above.

Also something to note on the CT flyer.
1/2 inch torque wrench: 50-250 ft lbs
3/8 inch torque wrench: 50-250 inch lbs

Need roughly 100 ft lbs of torque for wheels on most sedans...maybe a bit more for SUV/vans.

Breaker bar is still $15 - currently and for the upcoming sale.

Everyone should consult with your Owners Manual the recommended torque required for your wheels.
