Pipe wrenches are one of those tools where the build quality really isn't that significant. It's just not a precision tool.
Maximum tools usually are high quality. I like the extendable design which provides quite some flexibility.

It also has lifetime warranty.

I have a length of 1" dia copper pipe. I slide it onto handles when I could use more leverage (breaker bar, wrenches, etc.). Just an alternative.

Yeah. I use similar method (a deep socket instead of pipe) when I need extra leverage. The extendable handle should be more convenient to get extra leverage.
