I was comparing this to their non-maximum version and reviews say this is the one to get if you had to get one at crappy tire.

No CT in my region seem to have it, and the site doesn't allow me to ship to my house (in NB) even if I pick one of the store that has it for 29.99$. Anyone have a workaround?

Anyone know max temperature reading?

Edit: in reviews, CT replied with -38 to 520℃ (-36.4 to 968℉)

Not high enough for what I need...

I have both. This one is more sturdy and accurate.

It works quite well. Highly recommend!

None in stock at any store in Northwestern Ontario. I got the cheaper Mastercraft one when it was on sale and it was pretty crappy (as befits the store it came from) with totally inaccurate readings. But MAYBE this one MIGHT be better?
