[Canadian Tire] MAXIMUM Ratcheting Wrench, 44-pc, SAE / Metric, CRV - $159.93, regular $399.99 (YMMV)

This is the 30 pack ($375) + SAE stubby 7 piece ($90) + metric stubby 7 piece ($90) sets, all in one package.

StockTrack Link (thanks @seafish)

Mine is all marked GearWrench.

Stumbled on this while hunting for the 18 piece pack. Store clearance so YMMV.

Apparently this set had a high-price of $630 at one point!

Happy hunting!

Thanks, just put in an order for pickup. Only one left in the store so it'll be interesting to see if they actually have it!

Thanks OP.
Been on the lookout for these for a while.
This seems like a great set at a great price.
Fingers crossed ISPU will actually be confirmed!

Update 4:05 pm: Received email notification that the order is in a locker ready for ISPU!

I bought a 15 x 2 tekton non ratcheting set back in 2017 for $128+tax. Had this been around I would have bought this.

Imo, The flex ones suck.

Not sure if it's Canadian Tire brand but they just end up flopping around after a few usage.

As someone who has used the flex heads for years, I will completely disagree with you. Way more versatile then the fixed heads.

Actually the 1st set I had started to go loose but then I picked up another set which so far still good, maybe they improved. Both sets from Canadian tire

But I take care of it more now and stopped most of the abuse, always break seized bolts first before using it

Why do you guys need all these size and the stubby ones?

I rarely need the sae size. Only use metric
And never needed a stubby size where the regular size does the job.

Just wondering in where and which situation do you use these?

Just picked up my set of these from an in store pickup (none were available on the shelf) but mine weren't marked GearWrench, just "Ratcheting Wrench Set"

QC seems to be lacking in these, as almost every ratcheting mechanism is different. Some are smooth with almost no click, while others are very clicky. All appear to work without any big issues.

I think this is one of those better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it scenarios. Buying single wrenches is a rip-off and this is a very good price for what you get. If you are certain that some sizes will never be used, put them on FB Marketplace.

I'd still keep them as long as they have the lifetime warranty.

Yup, same lifetime warranty. Wasn't too worried that they aren't marked GearWrench.

I'll probably never notice the difference if there is any, and the 10mm feels solid, which will definitely get the most use.

Is this set much more useful then the 18pc set which was on clearance for $50? I’m looking to build up a tool set from scratch and wondering if there are use cases where the extreme sizes (small and large) would come in handy.

The $50 set has only the 18 full size ratcheting wrenches you see in the photo - not the 14 SAE / Metric stubby wrenches, and no pouch. Personally I don't think these are worth an extra $100 but you may need to work in tight spaces and find them handy. I was installing solar panels on the roof of an RV last summer and it was a beast using only sockets & box end wrenches.

The $50 set has only the 18 full sized SAE/Metric ratcheting wrenches, not the 14 stubby wrenches, no holders and no pouch. If you're building a tool set you probably have your own tool storage system going so the holders/pouch are going to be unnecessary. Personally I don't think the stubby wrenches are worth the extra $100 but you may find them handy if you work in a lot of tight spaces. Last year I was installing solar panels on the roof of an RV and it was impossible using only sockets or box end wrenches - that's when I got my first gearwrench. I wouldn't call the size range of the 18 SAE/Metric set "extremely small and large". If you own both a car and a bicycle I think you'll probably use every wrench in this set eventually.
