[Canadian Tire] Michelin X-Ice Snow Tires

Just got back from purchasing winter tires at my local C-Tire and was surprised to find they are on sale a day early! Sale technically starts Oct 8th!

Price will vary by size, but most tire shops around me have my size at between ~$296-$340 and I just paid $262 plus got $25 back in e-CT money per tire -- but that promo ends tonight (Oct 7th), so anyone with a store still open should hurry down before close to get both deals or perhaps purchase online and price adjust later! It seems there is also a $70 instant rebate but that didn't reflect on my purchase so I will have to look into that myself!

As other users have mentioned in other tire threads, this model is brand new this year so you shouldn't have issues with old DOT codes.

Hope this helps someone, and if you aren't a fan of Canadian Tire, feel free to move on to the next thread because nobody here cares to hear it!

I bought a set of nearly new (2018 manufacturing date) X-Ice 3's for my daughter's Fiat 500 for $300 on steel rims. One winter on them.

Buy used if you can.

$300 for a full set of 4 hardly used Michelin X-ice 3's, each with a steel rim as well?? Unreal price

I always do. Tires are easy to buy but hard to sell. During covid though? Everything is surcharged

Just a new line for Michelin ... not a big deal ... don't care.

I picked up a new set of Michelin X-Ice Xi3 205/60R16 ... 1x DOT 4119 & 3x DOT 4019 (1 week difference means nothing) ... $456.66 (taxes included) from Canadian Tire on August 22 ... $386.12+$18 TRF ...

Gonna have these mounted, balanced on my stock 16" rims at my buddy's shop in Richmond Hill this week ... mind as well since his shop will be getting busy soon ...

Wife's winters are already on steel rims (Michelin X-Ice 215/60R16 DOT 1917 bought in 2017 for $780) will be installed myself whenever it snows. She's not working so it really doesn't matter. Not like we're going to take her vehicle out much (leased vehicle).
