[Canadian Tire] Moulinex 6 Qt Digital Slow Cooker - $39.97 (Clearance Price)

Been looking at a lot of slow cookers and multi cookers lately, and figured I'd settle on a slow cooker since it's cheaper. Anyway, I came across this deal at Canadian Tire. Keep in mind, the slow cooker is on clearance so YMMV. I had to drive 20 min out of town to find one new in box, since the stores near me were out of stock or only had a floor model left. This unit has been on sale for 50% off previously, but that was when Canadian Tire's regular price was $99.99. The regular price has dropped to $89.99 now, with a clearance price of $39.97.

Here's the manufacturer's link:

Just an FYI, the Canadian Tire product description is incorrect. It does not includes a serving spoon that clips into the lid, recipe nametag, spoon rest, or listrest. There isn't an Easy One Step Prep recipe book either. However, it does come with a 3-year warranty.
RFD mods keep changing my signature, and I'm not doing anything malicious. I guess we're not free to speak our minds or share whatever we want.

I'm in Edmonton, so I had to drive out to Spruce Grove. Check the store stock checker on the CT site.

Crock pot 7qt's are $19.99 at Walmart, abet not digital.

There has been a few running deals on Amazon for digital ones for about $20, as well

Previous amazon deal (ran for a month or two a couple of times) :
[Amazon Canada] HOT! Crock-Pot Programmable 4-Qt, Oval Slow Cooker $22.88 (PRIME MEMBER EXCLUSIVE) - RedFlagDeals.com Forums https://forums.redflagdeals.com/amazon- ... #p28317419

No timer, no keep warm mode after the cook is done, not digital. The stirring mechanism leaves a plastic flavor behind, based on several reviews I've been reading. Been doing a lot of research on these things, and based on reviews/feedback, the Crock-pot models aren't great. Hamilton Beach, or other manufacturer are better options based on what I've been reading.

I'm taking a chance on Moulinex, because they're owned by the same company that owns T-Fal and Lagostina.

Ok.

Btw... what stirring mechanism are you referring to? Neither the Walmart & Amazon model's I was referencing have such a feature.

The Amazon model is fully digital with timer, & keep warm modes. but that one is 4qt and not 6. Itll probably go on sale again if you're patient enough (Currently $34.99):

Your RFD link goes to specific post with a CT link. BTW, I was looking for a 6 Qt model, not 4 Qt.

As mentioned in the OP, it's a YMMV deal. The Spruce Grove location had ten the other day when I checked, and now they're down to five.
