[Canadian Tire] Napoleon Legend LD3 3-Burner Natural Gas BBQ Grill *Store Clearance* YMMV

This is my very first post on RFD so please be kind.

Napoleon Legend LD3 3-Burner Natural Gas BBQ Grill with Folding Side Shelves is on clearance at most CT locations. There is a stainless Steel version of this grill as well but it is not on sale, only the non-stainless steel (blacked out) version is on sale.

NOTE: this is a NATURAL GAS grill and NOT A PROPANE GRILL. This particular model is CT exclusive.

Just for some examples of the price difference. its originally $899.99 regular price. I know there are other clearance prices out there for weber but just wanted to bring this to attention if no ones seen it yet.

If anyone has any past experience with this model please let me know!

UPDATE: different CT stores have them for different prices. They are not globally on sale at every CT store

Thank you, OP for the share! I've been looking for a good deal on a natural gas BBQ for a few months. It's a good deal for Napoleon for sure, I just put an online purchase in at CT. With the 15 year warranty on most of the parts, you can't go wrong. Thank you again!!

Nice. I ended up with a Napoleon Rouge from HD for $699.

Still need to assemble it.

For those still looking Weber E310 NG was on clearance for $786 at my local Calgary Lowes.

How does this compare to the other Weber deal's that we've seen floating around?

I honestly have spent the last 4 weeks trying to find some reviews on the Legend series by Napoleon but can’t seem to find any. By the looks of the Rogue line though it seems as if the Legend series may be “one up” from that in their tiered system. There are a bunch of reviews on YouTube of the Rogue vs Weber entry model bbqs that I’ve seen as well that give a lot of insight.

I personally went with Napoleon instead of the Weber based off the looks of the bbq as well. Mind you, the Legend series at CT has a stainless steel version as well but it isn’t on sale. The Weber bbqs look too wide and I didn’t love the idea of the bottom being so open. The foldable sides are also a bonus as the bbq will be sitting on my townhouse patio which is limited in space.

There isn’t a conversion kit for this model. Napoleon states it on their website under FAQs for this model.

I believe it is a porcelain blacked out coated top whereas the stainless steel model is just the classic stainless steel top finish along with the bbq as well like doors etc. the porcelain blacked out version has that material for the hood but then black steel doors on the bottom as seen in the photo of the original post.

One left in Midland @ $599.

Very tempting. I picked up the Rogue 365 2-burner + side burner for $580 at Amazon a week ago.

May I ask what makes it a step up from the rogue line? There's 1 left near me so I'm deciding if I should pull the trigger or not. I'm not in a huge rush to make the purchase, just don't know if there will be any better deals within the next few months.

I was simply going off the Napoleon website where they have their Legend series ranked above the Rogue and Freeatyle series. Mind you it’s the LD4 Legend models which are newer.

My 2 cents would be if you want a side burner there is a 3 burner + side burner Rogue on the market and to go with that. It’s built nearly the same as the LD3 at CT but with the added side burner. Equally you can also get the one without the side burner which is identical to the LD3 sold at CT. Nice part about the Rogue would be that that line is more “available” meaning parts will also be more available if anything goes wrong. With the LD3 being an exclusive CT model it may have limited parts available on hand and may take longer to order in. I went with the LD3 because of the price and it looks better than the webers. Functionally it did the same thing as the Weber

Looks like CT also has a Rebel line which seems exclusive to CT

These are made in China. How do they compare to Canadian made?
