Might be worth changing your post. Add the word off to ($80) so it shows ($80 off) or the actual purchase price.

I bought this in early 2021.

This thing reeks of plastic smell that transfers onto the food you cook.

I tried vinegar, cooking bacon, spraying windex all over the inside and the stench remained. Not sure if the smell goes away eventually, but I used it for a month before I returned it.

CT model has 2 more cook functions and has a max temp of 450F; costco model's max is 400F. The CT model is a better value for the extra $20.

I bought the CT model in April 2021 for $179.99. I use it 3+ times/week. Great air fryer.

Saw that Costco one, I wanted the 2 extra features Air Broil and Bake. Justified the extra $20 for me. Smiling Face With Open Mouth

A plasticky smell is common on drawer style AFs at first, but usually goes away after a use or two. I believe ive seen some people say something ablut air frying lemon wedges to help? Cant remember. When i got my first one once upon a time i had this issue only for the first 2 uses or so and it went away.

If it lasted a month, it was definitely a fluke or defect. I used to work... adjacent to this brand, and amd relatively familiar with this product and havent heard or experienced this issue with the models i or those I worked with used. (Not saying this from a biased pov, no horse in this race at all lol). That said unless the two drawer thing is a must for you almost $200 for an air fryer is still incredibly expensive imo when theres lots of deals on other kinds to be had!

I wanted to add to this point. Unless having one machine with two drawers is really important, just get two single drawer ones for $40-$50 each on sale. You'll also have backup incase one breaks.

I guess the downside to this is space too, the machines aren't small and thats a lot of space to take up for some. Not that the dz201c is small, but it is definitely smaller than 2 single drawers

Honestly my solution is to either time them closely to cook together when possible (ir chicken bites and fries) or do them separately and put one in the oven to stay warm or pop it back in the af after the second item is done to quickly reheat

Dumb, unless you really need 2 baskets. What if you wanna cook something large that expands 2 baskets like a whole chicken or 2-3 steaks, etc?? Ninja Foodi Grill XL or Pro XL line is the best. Their top models. Can go up to 500F with grill, griddle and air fryer baskets. Expensive AF tho... but nice to have.
If the glove don't fit you must acquit! #WINNING
