[Canadian Tire] Noma Chandelier 40W (equivalent) Dimmable Soft White LED bulb, in-store clearance - $1.73 (YMMV)

Found this E12 base soft white (3000K) chandelier bulb on clearance for $1.73 . Reviews seem decent, and it's actually pretty bright. Have not tried it on a dimmer, so not sure how well dimming works. Warranty is rated for 10 years. Some locations have lots in stock, while other have 0, and prices may vary due to in-store clearance. I bought mine from the Yonge & Steeles location.

Specs:
- Uses: 5W
- Brightness: 325 lumens
- Colour temperature: warm white 3000k
- Hour life time: 25,000 hours
- B10 E12 Base
- Beam spread: 220°
- 80 CRI
- Warranty: 10 year limited warranty
- Minimum operating temperature: -20° C

I'm done with Noma bulbs even though this seems like a good price. Home Depot has Phillips 90 CRI at reasonable prices.

Does anyone know where to get 60w chandelier bulbs for a good price? Our ceiling fan takes 1 bulb and came with an incondescent bulb.

I got these 60w one from Amazon and thought it’s pretty good. It was 18.99 when I bought, now $5 more. (No additional tax)

Yes, picked it up curb-side yesterday from the Yonge & Steeles location. One reviewer (from a month ago) on the CT site said he/she got Feit bulbs, but mine are Noma.

As for flickering, I'm not terribly sensitive to that, so I can't tell if it is occurring. However, all LEDs dim by reducing the frequency of the strobe, so presumably the dimmer it gets the higher chance you can see the flickering.

Update: Made some corrections

Was it this particular type of bulb that you had problems with? I've had issues with the Noma BR30 2-pack bulbs, but CT was very good with the replacements (brought in 1 dead bulb but got 2 new in a box as replacement). Noma brand could be made by one of (at least) 3 manufacturers - Feit, Globe, or Xiamen Longstar . This particular bulb is made by Xiamen Longstar.

As with all long warranty items, I would recommend keeping the receipt in case they burn out before the warranties expire.

Anyone know if stores still have the instant rebates sales in partnership with the government I believe?

I love the filament look but never been able to find one which is 3000k.
