The Old Dutch dish soap is on sale for $1.00 for 732mL. This works out to $0.00137 per mL. The Amazon Method dish soap deal was $0.00141 per mL so the Canadian Tire Old Dutch is a better buy. There are even two scents you can choose from.
And if you bought it today (Saturday), you could have gotten up to 12% off with a CTFS MasterCard with the reward bonus or 8% with regular a Canadian Tire rewards card.
For me, I actually had an offer in my Canadian Tire rewards account that I stacked with the 12% rewards bonus today. I effectively got 24% off when accounting for the bonus money I got back. I actually redeemed my Canadian Tire money to pay for most of my cleaning supplies today and paid a few dollars on my CTFS MasterCard and it looks like you still get the full amount of Canadian Tire bonus money when paying with Canadian Tire bonus money! It's a very little known loophole that I take advantage of that I haven't shared before. Use this knowledge wisely!
So for me, I effectively paid only $0.76 per bottle of Old Dutch dish washing detergent, giving me a per unit cost of $0.00104 per mL. This simply obliterates the Amazon deal. Too bad I don't wash dishes by hand so don't really have a use for dish soap.
