How does this compare to other oils in terms of quality and price?

Is the Castrol Edge 0W20 from Costco (5L x 3 jugs) for $109 a better deal and oil?

Is it just me or did they remove the grade selection drop down from their website? I can't figure out whether this oil comes in 5w20.

Never mind I see 5w20 in the description

I just buy whichever quality synthetic (Pennzoil, Mobil, Castrol) is on sale when I need oil. I figure that they are all pretty similar as long as I buy a good tier oil.

"Well, we’re no closer to saying that one type of oil is better than another, that’s for sure. We see much more variation in wear levels from the type of engine, the time on the oil, the viscosity, the use the engine sees, etc. Whatever differences exist from oil brand to oil brand, we don’t see a lot of difference in terms of wear for most types of engines. This! It's easy to go down the rabbit hole of bobistheoilguy to try to figure out what the "best" oil is. The fact of the matter is regular oil changes with pretty much any of the correct certification and viscosity synthetic will be great for your engine.

Is the offer on until Thursday the 19th of September, 2019?

I think that we may want to wait and see if they offer a targeted advertisement of spent x amount to get $x off.

The prices look like they are all up a dollar now compared to the past offers (ex: it was $33 for Ultra Platinum and now it is $34 for the same oil).

That's correct, the weekly flyer ends Thursday Sept 19.

I also noticed the dollar increase from the last sale, but that's fine with the MIR. Lol

I believe max is 4 per year, per household. And yes you can send in the additional two and get the rebate.
