[Canadian Tire] Ratcheting wrench set (SAE/Metric) $119.99

I have been eyeing down a set for just a few weeks and this is on sale if you need SAE/Metric and a variety of sizes. I am sure there have been better deals than this but haven't seen anything yet, if there is a deal to wait for let me know.

Would be great if you put the price in the title.

Best to quote price rather than "savings" for CT, because their "regular price" for sale items is well known to be exaggerated.

These sets typically go on sale in the last quarter of the year for under $100. I finally settled on this set for about $90 which includes a custom wrench roll. The roll itself is worth its weight in gold as no storage solution is perfect unless it's custom.

The 30 pcs set will be on sale at 160$ on Thursday, it might be a better deal?

Keep in mind that they skip some sizes you might need ie 16mm and 18mm are on many cars now.

I bought a metric set from Home Depot for $25, It's the Husky brand which is backed by home depot for lifetime warranty. I don't know why these would be better at such a high price.

Just looked on HD site and couldn't find any ratcheting wrench sets close to $25 but I did find a 30 pc set for $98 which includes some stubby wrenches and also 18mm size.
( you can generally use 5/8 for 16mm and 3/4 for 19mm)

Their website doesn't show their whole Inventory, you'd have to go into the store and you'll see it on the shelf. These are the full wrenches with the flexible ends that can turn to get into angled areas, not those stubby ones on the site.

It looked exactly like this set on here but there is an option for the flexible ends. Anyways, I'm just giving some other alternatives, as I have bought these ones and they work just great and at a fraction of the cost as what's posted here.

Are the ratcheting as well? That’s the key part here for me. Between the snowmobile, truck, Seadoo and random fixes around the house and cottage it’s handy to have both sae and metric.

Husky and Mastercraft are both home owner grade tools, but their warranty is huge difference. I once called Canadian tire customer support to get spare parts of my 10 years old mastercraft bench grinder, it seems to me their call system will divert your call to different vendor based on SKU # of your tools. For my mastercraft bench grinder I was diverted to company located in Montreal. The shipping cost is close to $20 to Ontario but their parts pricing is very low and I ended up paying a little over $35 shipped. The bench grinder is actually a OEM design just rebranded under different trade names such as Ryobi/Sears/Wen/King Canada. So I checked my local parts distributor for Ryobi and the cost for the identical parts is nearly $60 pick up in store.

I also called Husky support trying to get spare parts for track wall panel. Their support are simply HomeDepot staff and they told me just to go back to stores for replacement or refund since the track wall panel is already discontinued. It may be perfect for someone looking to get their money back but in my case I just want spare parts.

I bought the Maximum 30-piece ratcheting wrench set a few years back. Unless something has changed since then, they are made by GearWrench. They say Maximum on one side and GearWrench on the other.
PSAs
-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-There is a difference between the words NEED (necessities) and WANT (desires). The word NEED is over-used on RFD and in society in general.

I checked Home Depot, the main distributor of Husky, and could not find anything at this price.
