Extreme YMMV. I was in my local mid-island Canadian Tire yesterday and they are blowing out these rifles in .300WSM only for $999.99. These run $1250-$1399 PLUS TAX everywhere else. If you are looking for a very nice thumper in Stainless Steel Made in Finland this is a hot deal. Call your local CT to find out first.

I find CT to be VERY competitive on pricing for firearms. They routinely have Mini 14's on sale for lowest in Canada. The selection is thin but possibly it is better in other provinces?

Agreed,
the Langford canadian tires prices tend to be comparable or better than online prices.

I am quite surprised to hear from you that your local store in Alberta does not sell them. Also as mentioned this might me a one-off clearance at my branch only and this deal is very YMMV me thinx.
