[Canadian Tire] Simoniz Microfibre Cloths 25-Pack $9.99 (ymmv)

I'm not sure whether this is considered a deal, but I was at Canadian Tire and these cloths were on sale for $9.99 (regular $19.99), compared to the 8-Pack, which usually goes on sale for $7.99. I checked the Canadian Tire site and the 36-Pack is also on sale for $13.79 (https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/simo ... p.html#srp). They've held up pretty good for cleaning my car, and can also be used for other cleaning purposes.

Was just at my local Beer Store and they have a much thicker plush microfibre cleaning cloth for $12.99 pack of 4 (41cm x 41cm). Definitely feels much softer than the Simoniz.

How big are these? looks to be around 12x12. And I'm guessing 90/10 polyester/polyamide?

anyone compare these to the amazon ones? I normally use those for household cleaning as they are decently soft. Also online the 36pack is showing as regular price for me at my store.

Ok, but your pack of 4 is more than the pack of 25 OP posted

I bought them for my car two yearish ago, good if you need qualities over quality. I have now replaced them with the Costco ones bc they are getting old and thin. They don’t soak up much liquid but if you like changing it out often bc you don’t want to spread dirt around the paint, they work.

Close, they are 14x14.

I'm assuming it's ymmv in that case. I checked a few stores around me and they were on sale, so I assumed it was most, if not all locations. Although, my closest store doesn't carry 36 pack.

Ya that's on sale but not the 36 pack for me in Montreal. Have you used these?

I didn't like the amazon ones for cleaning my car, i found they left more tiny lint balls (this was years ago so not sure if that's changed). Since then i've always just bought whatever is on sale at CAD tire and been happy. No point buying expensive ones are they get gross and get thrown out pretty quickly.

For household cleaning i'd just get whatevers on sale.

Are these single sided? If so, the 20 pack of Frank towels goes on sale for $9.99 pretty often and are double sided.

One key is to make sure that they are washed separately in an microfiber only wash (no clothes), using dedicated MF cleaning soaps (if you can afford the extra $15 which will last you probably 20-40 loads), and either air dry or low low heat.

$0.10 or $10 towels will all die the same if washed and dried incorrectly.
