Thanks for the information,

Does anyone know if we obtain the prime in point when we bought Canadian Tire gift card?

I am not able to find exactly on their page what is `qualifying purchase`

Thanks

If you buy Canadian tire gift cards, you will not get CT money at all.

If you use Canadian Tire gift cards as method of payment, you will get 20x on your Triangle card (Not Triangle Mastercard).

Seasonal stuff only? This is the only info on the banner, the fine print is also vague.
1 DAY ONLY! SAT. DEC. 7
Are you pining for a Christmas tree to spruce up the place? Get all your holiday essentials at Canadian Tire, plus pocket some bonus CT Money® while you’re at it! 20X 30X

It usually applies to whatever collects CT Money so no gift cards, etc.

Does this stack with the multiplier offers that we get each week on certain product categories?

OMG!
it's so low!
Is it worth bothering?
Even at 20 X that's 8%!
Do they have redemption bonus events sometimes like Shoppers?

Nope, 50X is only thing that really worth it.

Not exactly true.. they have had a few in the past... This year there haven't been any that I know of, but last year they did have 2 or 3 events.
Here was one of them.
It's usually in the form, of you get X% back of the amount you redeem. So like in the even above, if you redeemed $100, you got $20CT money back.

Well, keep in mind these Bonus events are above and beyond most existing sales.

Example: today I bought 2 bags of the Sifto Extreme Ice Melter 20kg bags... They were on sale for $9.99 each, from $11.99 . (which is really not a bad price already when it is not on sale, since HD, has it for $19.99/bag regular price).

Total of $19.98 +tx for 2 bags. Now we had the 20x bonus event, which was another 8% (20x) event, for another $1.60. I also had 50x offer on Ice melters, in my CT app offers (see image below). so that is another 20% ($4). Then I could have gotten the usual base point of 4% (10x - $0.80) for paying with my Triangle World Elite card (but in my case, I redeemed CT money already to pay for it, so I did not get the potential extra $0.80 base points..

So essentially I got the bags on sale, at a decent price for $19.98.. And then I got $5.60 in CT money. And if I had paid with my Triangle card, I would have gotten and extra $0.80, to bring the total additonal saving to $6.40. So now it is a little more substantial. 20%+8%+4% would get you 32% discount on top of the already sale price. Surprisingly all these offers are stackable and do compound.

I've done similar on sales of Synthetic Penzoil oil in the past. Oil on sale for $32 (65% off the crazy inflated price - but on sale comes down to good prices), then 4% (10x) base points, 8% (20x) for Bonus day purchases, and then they often have 25x or 50x oil offers in app, giving either an additional 10% or 20% more.. Then using the Penzoil $10/jug rebate, bringing the total cost to just over $14/jug for Penzoil ultra Synthetic 4.4L jugs.

Confirmed it stacks. Bought oil for 20x general offer plus 25x personal offer.

Good if applied to sale items. At least saves the taxes.

If you live near a Reno depot or Rona that is closing their entire inventory is 30% off.

Shoppers 20x = 30% off

Or shop for similar items at Princess Auto where there normal prices are 20 to 30% off of what CT sells for.

Value of X=0.004

So 30X = 0.12

And let's say if you spend $50 before taxes,

You will earn 50 × 0.12 = $6 CT money.

Can someone help me work out the math? New to the CT rewards program and I do have a CT Triangle WE MC. Bought an item $27.99, received $1.12 in "e-CT money" and a bonus $7.24 in "Bonus e-CT money" for a total of $8.36. How did they come up with these values? I'm also assuming that this dollar value can be directly applied to future purchases at 100% valuation? ie. this "e-CT money" isn't devalued somehow when redeeming?

Simple math here, your Triangle gave u 30x and your bonus offer through the app gave you 50x which is 80x. Each 10x is 4% = 32% and your sub total is 950 so $950 x .32 is 304$ cdn tire money.
