[Canadian Tire] YMMV - Rain-X All Season Windsheild Washer Fluid, -45°C, 4-pk - $8.99

This is a YMMV deal, not happening at all Canadian Tire, so if your local store don't have it at this price, dun go looking at me, you have been warned.

It looks like some Canadian tire ran out of the 8.99 case of Reflex -45 washer fluid or didn't get enough before the sale started and they seem to had marked down these Rain-X All Season Windsheild Washer Fluid, -45°C, 4-pk for the same price of $8.99 for people coming into the store.

Store that I know had this happen is Markham East @ Markham/14th and Agincourt @ mccowan/sheppard
Confirm below
https://stocktrack.ca/?s=ct&q=299-3374-2

This is the All season -45 stuff with more detegrent and de-icer in it then the yellow -40 deicer RainX stuff at walmart.

Rain-X All Season Windshield @ Cdn Tire
- All-season formula cuts through light snow and ice, frost, bug splatter, tree sap and road grime
- Rain-X glass treatment technology treats windshield with a water and soil repellent finish to quickly restore visibility
-45 °C temperature rating

Rain-X De-Icer Winter @ walmart
- Removes light ice and snow, frost, and road grime to quickly restore visibility
-40°C temperature rating

Also box might look like the picture below as opposed to what is shown on cdn tire website

I like the Reflex better. Both for that price are a good deal though!

Picked up two at the Canadian Tire store on Carling in Ottawa. The sign in store said $19.99, and the box looked different than online, but the price on StockTrack was right. Thanks so much @Brewmeanie, pretty happy after missing out on the Walmart deal yet again!

First in to say this, many long term users of Rain X have reported it corrodes the windshield tank sensor to the point where it breaks it and you'll have to repair it for $$$$$.

Broke my windshield sensor on my Civic after about 4-5 years of use. It was TOTALLY corroded, googled it and found many people complaining about the same. Been using REGULAR blue stuff for over 7 years in the same car, NOTHING. The car is rusting more than the sensor!!!

DO NOT USE RAIN X, freaken thing cost me $180 to replace my damn sensor. I kept the repair bill, if someone sues in Canada I'm in!

That's the Reflex, not the Rain-X. Reflex is the house brand which might be unavailable. Some stores are subbing the Rain-X if the Reflex is unavailable.

Only partially true.

A lot of people who don't understand how conductive sensors work.

Imo salt is much more corrosive than this 10 fold.
