[Canadian Tire] Zinsser - Bullseye 123 paint primer - 50 percent off

A super duper sale on water based primer. Rare you find it for half price.

For those who want to save even more money, my friend went to Home Depot for price match and got 10 percent for the difference. So he ended saving about another $2.
For me, Home Depot is out of the way so I am more than happy with the sale price at Canadian Tire.

Would you advise to use this primer as a way to prime an entire basement? I am looking to repaint it all this fall, and this is a good deal. It’s approximately 700 sq feet.

No...he means it's chear to buy 5 of smaller cans than to buy 1 of 20 gal.
20 gallon is $140 so it's cheaper to price match and buy 5 smaller cans.

I spent couple of hours trying to find bad review but could not find a single bad review about it.

prime an entire basement ? Are you referring to drywall ? If so then its a great choice.

If you priming an entire basement, you will save quite a bit of money. Decent primer goes for $40 to $50 a can.

woah, thats quite a bit of quantity. I guess you got a lot of painting/priming to do ?

I assume when you say 20 gallons, you mean 20 cans of Zinsser primer ? 1 can is 1 gallon right ?

Hey I'm about to attempt painting my bathroom floor tiles. How did tile painting work out for you? How did you handle the grout lines?
