I don't follow them since it's not in my portfolio. I think their next earnings will be out at the end of Dec.

Yes I am already regretting selling! 10%/5% was clearly too aggressive ... live and learn I guess ! Will be looking for a re-entry point after a pullback soon

If the producers aren't making much money, how will Shoppers/Loblaws make money?rssdale wrote: ↑ Does Loblaw stock price (through Shoppers Drug Mart) have any future potential with legalization??
Seems that most of the top weed companies aren't even making much money and it's just speculation driving up the share prices. Loblaw seems like a good way to indirectly invest into the marijuana industry if they end up dispensing.

Well they aren't making much money compared to their stock price. Obviously they'll keep on producing but I doubt they'll hold their value. In that case Loblaw can potentially have another revenue stream. So worse case scenario I'm wrong and you end up with shares in a so so performing stock. If I'm right you save yourself from losing money and might see Loblaws see some nice profits.darkcloud8282 wrote: ↑ If the producers aren't making much money, how will Shoppers/Loblaws make money?
