Man, my parents is gambling with all of their RRSP money. Nothing good will come out of this.
maybe, or maybe they double their RRSP in a shot time and then go with a nice safe stock. It is their money, not yours.

It is still green for those investor who got in early.

Just try to convince them to gamble moderately and go with the big company or allocate accordingly.

But do you agree this is a gamble instead of an investment?

Then that is the fault of your parents. Investing 101: Do not put more than you're willing to lose.

Tell them to gamble smart and do their DD. There is still LOTS of money to be made, even from WEED which I think is overvalued on a few scales of magnitude.
I'm planning to easily pay off a chunk of my first house with my gains, and my returns aren't even that good (sold too early many times...)

Or tell them to put it all on HVST ;)

no, gambling is probability and chance, this is investing, but high risk

Quick question, Can I sell when the stock is halted?

For example, N has been halted for 2 days, can I sell it when is halted?

Thanks!

It’s worked for me...to a point.
Now it wasn’t all my RRSP, but I have been playing with 50-60k in my 90k RRSP trading portfolio (another 200k is in MF RRSP and 100k in a MF LIRA). From end of November until now that 90k is as of 5 minutes ago 130k...so now I can keep my initial 90k safe and continue to play with the rest...

Fun for me!

I do agree with you that this play is now pure gambling since SP do not align with company fundamental anymore.

Yeah, I think they are losing around 5% or so in 1 day today.

You cannot sell your shares until it is un-halted.

This has been a pattern in the last week. Dip around lunch time. Should recover. Average down!
