Regular $414.xx, for $219

For those who don't need colour and want a good compact multifunction, this is the only printer I found sub $500 that has duplex scanning. This might not sound like a big deal, but trust me... if you have a lot to scan, this is a big deal. Toners for it area also pretty cheap ($30-40)

I bought the 4370dn a while back for $100. good printer, but not sure if it's worth this much money.

I have the 4370dn too, its a good printer and scanner.

The only advantage over hte 4370dn (that i can see) is that it can do duplex scanning too.

Wish the 4370dn could do it though =/

Yeah um, that's a pretty big feature.

How does it scan duplex? Is there actually an additional scanner located on the lid?

4370dn has wired LAN but not wireless.

watch out for scanning and network connection, last time I've checked, it does not work. USB needs to be used for scanning into computer (unless they have upgraded thier drivers since then).
Otherwise good unit, cheap cartridges that can also be refilled.

I bought a Canon 4570dn that is the updated version of the 4300 series. I got it for $179 at Staples (plus additional $20 off with the "over $150 purchase" so actually $159). This printer always goes on sale. Think it was just on again this past week. Wait for it; always advertised in the local flyers.

Is there a RFD thread about this deal at all? Would like to learn more about it!

Which is better? 4380DN or 4570DN? My guess is 4570DN a bit better, but the regular price is lower than 4380DN.

Does anyone know a good place to refill the toner in the GVA area ? Both Futureshop and Staples sells the Canon 128 Toner Cartridge for about $110.

False information!

Have a MF4370dn and am scanning across the network RJ45 connection with no problems.

Printer has a "scan" button that needs to be pressed and "network scanning" shows up on the display.
When finished, press copy button to release it from scan mode.

If the software isn't setup properly, it won't work. Need to setup the printer connection as well as the scanner connection on each computer.
Works with Windows7 or Vista operating system. Haven't tried XP.

If it doesn't work, you probably haven't configured your scan connection properly.
