car problem...goes to the left

I have a 2006 nissan sentra. When I drive and either press brakes or leave the steering car pulls to the left. I did a wheel allignment the other day and it really narely made a difference. Also if I reach past 100km/hr the car shakes a nit like vibrations. When I press brakes at that speed brakes pedal vibrates a lot too. What is the problem with my car.

When hitting the brakes at high speeds and the brake pedal vibrates, it usually means warped brake rotors. Have your mechanic check that. Some places may be able to resurface the rotors, but be sure to compare the cost of that versus getting new rotors.

Oh how long have u had it? Maybe something wrong with your sensors, the car shaking is not a good sign I think only a mechanic can tell u what's actually wrong

Did you check the tire pressure?

Other than that, I'm guessing tie-rods and sway-bar.

I got the same problem. Rear tire-rod is destroyed on one side, and sway-bar is probably broke too. Probably cost $1000+ to fix, so I'm just ignoring it.

Go back to the alignment shop(hope its not CT) and get it redone. Unless your left brakes are seized, your car should drive straight or pull slight to the right because roads are higher in the center then right or left side.

Well when he did the allignment it showed red on the screen for front. He was doing something to the wheels and they all turned green. He went test drive and said atill pulls a bit because the right tire is better than the left or something

If the right tire has more tread than the left rotate one of your rear tires to the front right. Because Sentra is FWD uneven front tires will cause a pull. Also check the tire pressure to make sure they are even.

If it vibrates get a 4 wheel balance done. If you hear any loud droning noise like an electric generator sound, then you have bad wheel bearings. Either two can cause vibrations

If you have aftermarket wheels make sure you're using hubcentric rings

I think he's got a bigger problem than what is being suggested here. It's not going to be tire pressure or alignment. I don't think even CT is this incompetent. I think it's best you actually go to a mechanic than asking questions online. You don't want to sit in a 1 ton box of death while something is wrong....

switch your tires in the front, left to right and right to left and see if the problem follows.

This is most likely the cause.

Double-check the tire sizes at all four corners.

The factory size may have been 195/60R15 and all four tires should be this same size.

At some point a 195/55R15 or 195/65R15 may have been substituted for a damaged tire.

OP, you are saying it happens even when NOT braking?

easiest

tire pressure
tire size/wear
front toe alignment
rear toe alignment
seized brake

Go to mechanic right away.. dont neglect this.

Another info I left out but doubt that would be the cause is that my front 2 are one kind of winter tires and my back 2 are a different kind of winter tires. But all 4 are the same size. I will go to mechanic on monday
