Car storage? (I'm a hoarder)

Hey guys, my guilty pleasure is owning multiple of everything. I own multiple cell phones, multiple gaming PCs and now my next adventure is multiple cars.

I just bought a used corolla but now I want to buy another car (summer/recreation/hobby) type vehicle.

my question is where can I Store it as I don't have the space at my current place.

Is it expensive to store? can I have the vehicle not insured if I'm not driving it or get some kind of occasional insurance thing?

Thanks

This is the only forum in the world (in Jeremy clarkson voice) that someone would want to store their corolla.

The way you wrote that first post, I thought you were looking for some place to store your winter beater (Corolla)

Hoarding isn't a guilty pleasure, it's a mental disorder. Please learn the correct definitions and seek some help (seriously).

I used to have a manual convertible Ford Mustang as a second vehicle that's for summer weekend fun drives only and I live in the GTA.
My garage does not have the space for it so I ended up parking my regular car on the driveway and the Mustang inside the garage. Now, if you don't have any space for more than 1 car, it will get tricky.
You could try to ask a few neighbors if they have extra parking space you can rent (this is the cheapest and best option).
Depending on where you live and how much you care about your extra cars, you could apply for on-street parking permits and store them on your street.
If you want to rent an indoor parking spot, the monthly cost will be at least $100 and it might be far from where you live.
Don't even think about a storage unit, they cost way too much for storing a car.

There is no occasional insurance in Ontario. However, if you won't be driving a car for more than 45 days, you can opt to suspend the liability coverage. If you will be putting very few kms on the car, you can buy mileage-based insurance from CAA.

He could also be collecting, alot of people collect things (watches, jewelry, shoes, purses), as long as it's not every single thing in life that he is collecting, and as long as it's not impacting him financially (ie. he's using a very small percent of his income towards it).. and as long as it's not affecting his quality of life/space and it's done for limited things then it's not necessarily a disorder.

You do realize HE used the word hoarder and said "my guilty pleasure is owning multiple of everything. I own multiple cell phones, multiple gaming PCs and now my next adventure is multiple cars." and doesn't have space for the cars (hence the thread), right? Not sure why you feel the need to clarify his situation when you don't even know hiim- let OP do it.

This might be the right starting place. RFD is basically hoarders anonymous.

Didn’t know where you were cause you, like everyone else, doesn’t post a location until you mentioned GTA.

How about hoarding some properties so then you can build garages on them then you can hoard vehicles?

Also nothing wrong with 2 vehicles, how hard is it to park 2 in the garage? (Or park 1 in garage and 1 street parking)
