[Cardswap] Buy Loblaws/PC gift cards with Amex (e-delivery)

I posted this here instead of in Hot Deals since it will be of interest no so much for the average RFDer, but for many readers of the credit card forum with Amex MSR to meet.
First of all, NO you won't get any grocery category multiplier like 5x Cobalt points or 2x Gold MR points. You'll get the base earning amount on whatever Amex card you have.
Second, yes Cardswap is a legit site, see RFD discussion thread). E-delivery of PC gift cards seems to be new at Cardswap, previously they only had physical PC gift cards sent through the snail mail at your own risk, and availability of those was spotty.

Steps:
  1. Add your Amex card to PayPal
  2. Go to cardswap.ca
  3. Pick one of the Loblaws $100 or $250 eCodes
  4. Pay with PayPal, select your Amex card
  5. Wait 2 days for your code to arrive in your email. It will be a barcode you scan at the checkout, the same as scanning a physical PC gift card

That's it! Enjoy spending at Loblaws, pre-funded with your Amex card. One small perk is cardswap gives you 1% in credit when you buy Loblaws e-codes. Buy $1,000 and you get $10 off your next gift card purchase.

The first comment on the thread about cardswap is a hilariously blatant advertisement for it.

But aside for that old post I think it's a great way to essentially use Amex at Loblaws.

I recall hearing about cardswap a while ago.

I sold some GCs to Cardswap before, they were offering more for Sport Chek GCs than what I could buy them for on sale at Canadian Tire. That was fun. This was my first time buying on Cardswap.

or you could go to rakuten like most others which is funded by cardswap and get cashback, sometimes 2% on Loblaws banners

i do Cobalt->Instacart [GPay]->Loblaws banner store and get 5x. what i lose in delivery fee is offset by saving in gas, and most items i use it for are real close to pricing in-store, not to mention the time i save.

but sure enjoy those gc's. won't amex eventually claw back on those who mostly spend on gc's to hit msr?
