I didn't notice the catch but still a pretty good rate and initial fees. Please let me know if you can find better rates then these.

These thread(s) email notice always excites me until I read the first reply. Not fair.

I have been with Carrytel for over six years now. You can’t beat their prices and they are very reliable. I haven’t had a price increase since I started.

Same... Though this time first thought was “there’s no way, the price is just too good”. A pretty average deal where they just shifted the money a bit from first month onto the mandatory router purchase.

Still a good deal because the bigger guys are creeping up their prices like the similar 75 plan with Rogers is $85/month with modem. This is a reminder to others that there are third party whole seller that is driving the market price down.

I could have said the same until last week. They just increased my rate $5. Still competitive so I won't change, as long as it doesn't become a regular thing.

Check your e mails this month...my Carrytel is going up $5 per month...Having said that, it still is a decent price and I have home phone through them for $5 more (Voip).

Agreed except for the price increase, just got one a month ago, went from 30$ to 35$ a month.

I hate the new click and bait style that they are doing now, advertising fake prices just to tell you later: "oh yeah that was the first month only" BS. I really hate it
that being said they increased heir prices by 5$ in April it went from 34.99 to 39.99$ (customer since 2017)

As mentioned above it is still one of the best in the market but the new wording of their promo is very misleading at best
Still being robbed by Canada's Telecos.
Looking forward to dotmobile.

Still good price. I pay $40 now after they upped the price by $5 in Feb this year.

I notice you need to purchase the modem now. I pay $49 for the modem deposit back in 2018 when I switched to them.

Agreed, not too happy about the increase but at least the service is decent and the price is still competitive. And to be fair, this is the first increase in the 5-6 years I've been with them, better than Bell/Rogers increasing almost annually.

I switch from Rogers to Carrytel TODAY.

I start to use Rogers about 7 years ago. I pay $45 to get 200G / mo which is enough to me. So I never changed my plan. Because of the covid-19, I start to work form home. I need around 700G / mo.
I called Rogers for changing the plan. The cheapest plan they could offer is more than $70.

Price and service is not bad. However I noticed an influx of spam calls after I set up my services with them, I have no proof but just something to keep in mind.
