Thanks. I was thinking gigabit plans are all fiber, not cable.

Bear in mind, that is ping related during peak hours, that is why gamer prefer FTTN over Cable internet.

My internet became unusable again at 10:49pm and 10:55pm although it wasn't for that long. Still, can be frustrating if in the middle of something important.

After calling them and switching my modem to bridge mode and connecting my router to it I've had no issues so far. They should just ship the damn thing already setup that way if it doesn't work properly without it lol

Anyway I'm satisfied so far.

Sorry for the late reply! You can indeed still access the modem management page after that. I have a router plugged into the port 3 and I just tried accessing the web interface now. All good :)

My 25M plan was finally installed yesterday. I initially ordered 50M but was rejected as my location doesn't support it. As mentioned above, so you have to call them to switch the modem to bridge mode? Is this done remotely? I currently just turned my modem's wifi off then connected my own router for the wifi.

You don't need to call them. You can do it yourself. Their support FAQ has steps on how to configure bridge mode.
