It's $34.99 for the first month, then $54.99 per month afterwards. Most definitely NOT a good deal.

Also, you're tied to a 12-month-contract, vs no contract before.

I'll pass!

service is ok, but the price is definitely not a 'hot deal'

As other posters have said the fine print makes this cold. For reference a previous good deal from them was $40 for 150/10 cable on a month to month basis.

I've used them for a couple of years now and i've had no issues. In my area i have reasonable to good ping as well and reasonable to good speeds during peak hours (typically 100-130mbps at peak times). That being said the service is okay (you're better off speaking mandarin to them than english), but not great and they've struggled since COVID19 started to maintain the same capacity as they did before hand.

For the $40 a month i'm currently paying with them for Rogers 150/10 i can't get anything comparable.

Their sneaky in their pricing lately lol currently with cik and their under performance in speeds has prompted me to go to Roger's and their 1gb service and only paying 40.00 more for better speeds. I had carrytel before and had the same issues I've had with carrytel ciktel, & cannet their all owned or some what affiliated some how..... Now ciktel and cannet has a new policy and u cannot swap between different companies for better pricing.

Stay away from Carrytel! They throttle my download speed to 150KB/s from around 7AM to 2AM the next day. The only time of the day that I can get my promised speed of 75Mbps is between 2AM and 7AM

So no more Internet deals from Bell/Fido/Virgin recently?

Tried their service briefly for a week, running a ping test 3days straight without any packet losses... very stable.
Would haven't stayed, but robbers offered the gigabyte plan at $39.99.

If I can't renew the gigabit plan, I will go back to Carrytel, as there's no other reasonal price points from other providers or 3rd party sellers.
