Carrytel: what does transfer date mean?

Trying to switch to Carrytel from Teksavvy and under Installation Type it offers an option:
"Transfer: No visit required" then asks for current provider cancellation date, with a note "we require a minimum of 15 days in advance of your cancellation date to set up the Transfer for that date"

So do I just put in April 15 and then let Teksavvy know I want to cancel on April 15th? Or do I say 14th? Not sure how a transfer works so asking.

Have had Rogers and Bell service so I know they have lines to my home, currently TS DSL runs on Bell.

Sorry for the newbie/dummy question - looks like I chose a bad day to switch with Carrytel down, can't even get thru on any of their 4 phone #s - TIA!

cheers,
:)

Wow, good thing I asked - thx a mint for the info & reply, Keigotw!

Yes, taking advantage of Carrytel's Cable Internet 75 promo. I used to have Rogers cable a few years ago.

cheers,
:)
