CBC Gem: Free Streaming of Shows/Movies/Docs/Live TV

For those who may not be aware, the CBC has a streaming platform (launched at the end of last year) called CBC Gem that is available as an App for iOS, tvOS, Fire TV, Android TV, and Android phones and tablets. It is also accessible via the web at http://gem.cbc.ca. There are hundreds of shows/movies available via CBC Gem without even registering/logging in, however if you register, you get access to past seasons, cross-device streaming (so if you are watching something on your device on the way home from work, you can continue watching on your TV when you get home, picking up where you left off), and live local TV channels. Some of the content, such as Canadian feature films and kids programming, is ad-free, however the remainder is ad-supported.
