[Canada Computers] (CC) Sony KDL60W630B 60" LED Smart $1099 ($400 off)

It's advertised as $300 off on their site, when you add to cart it comes up as $400 off.

Reviews seem to be amazing for it -- haven't seen a cheaper price when I did a quick browse either.

Thanks! Been looking for a 60" Sony. They told me at Best Buy the W models are the highest in quality behind 4K.

The panel seems a bit thick though, does it wall mount from the lower half of the TV?

Looking for a 60" or 65" for my new basement/man cave. I know CC has a couple of TVs on sale right now and they throw in an "internet stick". That promo ends on June 8 so I'll wait and see if they have a new promo with something else. A soundbar would be nice.

I bought this TV about 8 months ago... Got it on a killer deal at Sears, the lady accidentally said it was included in a clearance that it was not and gave it to me at the discount it would have been at. Think I paid $1240 taxes/fees in.

It's a fantastic TV. The thing that struck me was the picture quality was up with the ones that were above my price range. Insignia type prices without Insignia type quality.

I just bought it. Only $13 Shipping with Fedex overnight. I read the reviews and they are really good. I have been wanting a Sony 60 inch for a long time now.

Thanks OP!

Not too sure if this is the same model having Big blob issues which I have got last year? I have got 4 60" different Sony set and each one of them had same issues. For this price I will probably buy one, however at this moment I am enjoying Sammy F8500.

Don't brag on my post if someone doesn't like.. there is already a huge thread on BLOB issues on AVSFORUM.. :P

Suggest going into the store to compare.

From my experience the Sony seems to render a bit more natural / vibrant to me than most Korean offers with their X-Reality PRO picture engine, which used to be only available on their top line not long ago.

Leaning on the LG, but will take opinions.

Bought this TV a few months ago for $1000 and don't regret it one bit. The picture is awesome, even in SD. The Smart TV portion of it is average at best, but I never use it so I don't really care. You won't get a TV with a better picture in this price range. Not even close.

I own this tv and it shows better that my Samsung that I paid much more for.

Downside, no 3D, not the best "smart tv", takes a lot of programming to get the best out of this TV.

If you are in the market for a 60 inch this nothing can touch at this price.

pm me if you want my settings as a starting point.

I got the LB6100 when it was $799 at walmart.. I really like the picture quality. On really high contrast the blacks turn grey but as long as you don't crank it up it's perfect.. I'm impressed with it.
