Dunno.
I've never had that, and they don't ask for or have my phone #.
I always use PayPal.
Perhaps I've had my CD Keys account long enough that I'm already a verified customer, or grandfathered.

well they got my phone number. they called and gave me a verification code to enter on website

Interesting.

That's also kind of ironic because a few people here on RFD always accuse CD Keys as being a shady 3rd party key distributor.

Yet, it's CD Keys who are protecting both themselves and the buyer from fraud by doing buyer verification checks.

Too funny!

I've NEVER had a problem with CD Keys or their delivery of codes.
