CDKeys has Xbox Live Gold: 12 Month Membership (Brazil - Digital Code) on sale for $48.59.

New / Expired Xbox Game Pass (or Game Pass Ultimate) members can convert Xbox Live Gold membership to Game Pass Ultimate at 1:1 rate. Any prepaid time up to the maximum of three years gets the upgrade. Free VPN is required only for redeeming the code.

Steps:

Purchase up to 3 years of Xbox Live Gold: 12 Month Membership (Brazil - Digital Code).
Download Urban VPN for free and connect to Brazil.
Redeem your Xbox Live Gold code(s) without agreeing to recurring billing.
Disconnect VPN and join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate by purchasing your first month for $1 ($16.99 if you joined Game Pass before for $1). Don’t enable auto renew when asked.

You will be prompted to upgrade your Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate with a 1:1 conversion: The renewal date should be the same as your gold, plus 1 month (Maximum 36 months).

The total price for XBL comes to CA$49.29, so that's only $10 cheaper than Costco.ca (which has no tax) where you won't have to bother with VPN. Just mentioning this for those interested.

Yes you can, did that recently and waited until my trial expired.

Nope, you only use VPN to redeem the code, doesnt change your country on your profile

I can't see it on costco.ca, though my membership expired and I can only browse as a guest. They seem to show member-only products (and hide the price), but maybe they also hide certain product entirely?

No. The Ultimate plan gives you access to both platforms and every perk, but the other plans are platform-specific and don't include the extra perks.

This thread is about a deal on Xbox Live Gold of all things - but the trick is that you can convert Gold to Ultimate at no additional cost if you are not currently subscribed to anything.

Xbox Cloud Gaming on console is not available in Brazil.
Not sure if you use xCloud, will it allow you to connect to nearest data center (should be okay, since US game pass allow Canadian to connect to Canada one)
Of course the game selection is different than Canada pass.

I cannot confirm 100% as I haven't tried myself, but I believe this stuff is based on the region you have set while playing, not the region set while purchasing.

if you guys feel like saving a lot and don't mind having to make a new account on your xbox console (just add the account make it your home console and then log into your main) you can get 2 months for $2 (was 50 cents a month ago)

Need a PC Game Pass deal, but I haven't seen any. This just might be the way to go.

The thing is, I have codes for two months of PC Game Pass...those are free to me, so I can use those..the question is can I apply Xbox Live codes to my PC Game Pass membership, and can I upgrade to GPU from PC Game Pass? Or is the upgrade trick only for Xbox Live?

try this trial one instead, set it as family on your pc so you can share the game pass

So how does this work after I purchase 12 months of Xbox Live to convert it to Ultimate? I have already used the $1 trial so I need to pay $16.99, cancel auto renew and it automatically just upgrades my membership to ultimate for the year?!
